The gems I walked away with? Being with friends/colleagues Mary E. Knippel, Birgit Soyka, Jane Glendinning, Matilde Schmidt, Shulamit Sofia; hearing Fred Glynn, Catherine C. Robbins, Rob Robbins Laura Bean & Mary French talk about their books/projects. My wish is for these hard-working writers to make their names synonymous with the themes/subject matters/issues they write about in their fiction or nonfiction.

Building one’s name is building one’s platform (to attract readers, agents, publishers, media attention before and after publication). You can sneak preview the 2 exercises for Day 1 of my workbook Build Your Writer’s Platform & Fanbase In 22 Days on Amazon. See you next month January 5, 2012 6:00-7:30pm at SFPL for another WNBA meeting

Teresa, it was a GR8 meeting. We stayed on course thanks to your skillful facilitation. It helped to have so many serious sincere writers with experience sharing their successes and frustrations. I got a lot out of our being together. Definitely will explore leads on self publishing people discussed and look forward to the next meeting. Thank you and WNBA for putting this group together.
