SF Chapter Board
Last Saturday, July 7, 2012, from 10:00am–Noon in Castro Valley, CA, the San Francisco Chapter’s board met to discuss our upcoming year’s activities. What brought us together was the sincere desire to revitalize the SF Chapter and plan exciting activities for the coming year.
What we’ve planned are live events, enjoyable networking opportunities for our members, almost all of the free! We hope you will renew your membership in WNBA-SF Chapter and join us as members and volunteers.
A sampling is:
- October 6, 2012, 2:00-4:00pm – “Joie de Livre: Celebrating the Joy of Shared Reading” WNBA National Reading Group Month event in collaboration with Litquake at Books, Inc., Opera Plaza, 601 Van Ness Ave., SF, free and public. This is the kick-off weekend for Litquake 2012!
- November 3, 2012, 4:00-6:00pm – “Poetry and Jazz: CONNECT!” Mixer for members only in San Francisco, free and private
- CONNECT! Mixers are planned each quarter throughout the Bay Area with a reader or speaker for each—a free members only event
- February 14th – 17th, 2013 – San Francisco Writers Conference at the Mark Hopkins Hotel: opportunities to man the SF Chapter table or volunteer for SFWC
